My Story

From Victim to Voice for Change

At 14, my private photos were stolen and turned into AI-generated deepfakes. They weren’t real, but the damage was. I thought justice would be simple. I was wrong.

This isn’t just my story. It’s about every person this could happen to.

FEATURED INTERVIEW

Hear My Story in My Own Words

I sat down with Nik & Colten to share my story, how AI exploitation changed my life, and why I’m now using my voice to fight for stronger protections and accountability.

This conversation is about more than what happened to me. It’s about raising awareness, creating change, and helping make sure what happened to me doesn’t happen to someone else.

What I'm Fighting For

AI Platform Accountability

AI companies and platforms that make powerful image-generation and manipulation tools available should have meaningful safeguards against abuse. I am advocating for stronger responsibility around how these tools are designed, accessed, monitored, reported, and used to create harmful deepfakes.

This includes better prevention tools, clear reporting systems, rapid removal processes, cooperation with law enforcement when appropriate, and accountability when companies knowingly enable or fail to address serious abuse.

Identity, Age Verification & Online Safety

I believe we need a serious conversation about identity and age verification for social media and AI platforms, especially when minors or high-risk generative tools are involved.

Any verification system must also protect privacy and personal data. The goal should be to make it harder for people to hide behind anonymous accounts while committing digital abuse without creating new risks for the people we are trying to protect.

School & Campus Protections

Schools need clear policies addressing AI-generated and digitally altered images of students. Creating, possessing, sharing, or distributing manipulated images intended to sexualize, humiliate, harass, impersonate, or harm another student should be explicitly addressed in school policies.

Students, parents, teachers, and administrators also need education about deepfakes, consent, digital responsibility, reporting procedures, and the consequences of AI-enabled abuse.

Stronger Laws & Victim Protections

Technology has evolved faster than many of the laws created to protect victims. I want to help advance laws and policies that recognize the real harm caused by AI-generated sexual imagery, deepfakes, impersonation, and other forms of digital exploitation.

Victims deserve clear paths to report abuse, remove harmful content, preserve evidence, seek support, and pursue accountability.

Education, Prevention & Awareness

We cannot legislate our way out of every problem.

Prevention starts with education. Parents, students, educators, lawmakers, technology companies, and communities need to understand both the opportunities and the risks created by artificial intelligence.

The goal is not to create fear around AI. It is to make sure innovation develops alongside responsibility, ethics, consent, and human dignity.
